Marianne Tijssen (1957) has been a member of Vereniging Aegon since 2018. She was appointed as a member of the Board on 26 April 2021, after which she was appointed Vice-Chair of the Board on 29 November 2021. Ms Tijssen worked at ABN AMRO in various positions until 2007. She started in 2009, as a founder, in the Fintech world with Five Degrees, an IT provider in core banking systems. Until 1 April 2023, she was Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board of Univé Coöperatie and Chair of the Supervisory Board of Univé Schade NV. As of March 2020, she has joined the one-tier board of ORTEC B.V., which was terminated on January 1, 2024. In November 2022, she became chair of the Supervisory Board of Leyden Academy on Vitality and Ageing B.V. In addition, in February 2024, she joined the Supervisory Board of the Foundation for Training, Retraining and Development Fund for the Performing Arts.
